White cloud diaper sure feels like a soft cloud in the fall's
sky. Soft absorbing layer inside and gentle to touch outside
surface of the diaper makes it a cozy and comfortable wear. The
side tabs of the diaper, both at the back and front are wide and
well wrapping around baby's body, which is good for leakage
protection. Normally babies under 3 months these diapers may not
be the right choice. For younger babies you need to be
careful since their skin is more tender and any rough surface
upon contact might make a wound and end up painful for the baby
for several days. This diaper's tabs has a tendency to scratch
the baby's skin since it has some sharp corners. However, if you
fasten the clip properly and in a certain way you can avoid
that.

The waist part of the diaper is stretching to adjust when baby
moves and sits, however the side tabs do not stretch, which is
the downside of this diaper. Stretching sides and waist of the
diaper is essential for bigger babies because they are
constantly on the move, rolling, sitting, squatting. Non
stretchy sides feel tight when you put the diaper on, and you
want to make sure that you do not keep diaper too lose for it to
leak. One other major problem with this diaper is its sticky
clips. The clips that are used to fasten the diaper are too big
and have a rough edge, although you would never suspect that
before your baby wears a diaper. When we bought white cloud, we
were impressed with the quality and comfort feeling of this
diaper. However after the first diaper change we noticed that
the baby's thighs are scratched and marked with red marks! I
couldn't understand how this happened until I touched the bottom
part of the fastening clip. It had a very sharp corner sticking
from underneath a soft layer! This corner kept brushing against
the baby's body because wide side tabs wrinkled and failed to
provide a protective layer to prevent the clip from brushing. It
kept brushing until it made a wound! In order to prevent that
you need to fasten the clip quite high while making sure that
the upper sharp corner of the clip doesn't brush against your
baby's belly. That makes it a too tight fastening of the diaper
because the side tabs are not stretchy. thus , dear parents, be
aware of the flaws of this diaper if you have a child on a move.
Nevertheless, this diaper is good for babies who are
allergic to the perfumed lotions that pampers corporation uses
for their diapers. White cloud is not perfumed so it shouldn't
cause allergic reaction. It also has an ok sponge factor. It can
absorb quite a lot of liquid while keeping it partially locked
underneath the layer which touches baby's body. thus baby is
less likely to develop diaper rash even if you don't change
diaper that often. Our observation is, however, that pampers
diaper is still the best in this absorbency category because
with white cloud we started to see the early signs of diaper
rash which initially were treated with Destin (the best diaper
rash treatment, I swear!).
Size of the diaper is excellent. Compared to Huggies diapers
which are always small for their sizes, white cloud is
comfortably wide. To summarize, change this diaper often, make
sure that sticky clips on the sides do not brush against your
baby's body and it will serve you well. Good for very young
babies. And if your are Beatle's crazy person you will enjoy the
words of John Lennon's song written all over the diaper:
"Imagine all the people, living life in peace..."
