At first look you will notice this diaper is very soft and nice.
The company claims it is unbelievably cozy. We think so too. We
tested two different version of this diaper. Initially we did
not have a good opinion of this diaper because of the plastic
nature. The new improved version of this diaper seems to have
addressed the problem and not it truly is soft and cozy.
Another noticeable feature is that is very wide front and back
flaps and swaddle baby well which in turn protect from leakages
well. And they are also evenly symmetrical.
The picture on the left shows how the
symmetrical side flaps on this Luvs. The tips of the sticky tabs are not sharp,
curvy and soft.

This diaper has excellent sponge factor as well. Most diapers
that has good or excellent sponge factor tend to be much
thicker. Luvs in this regard is much thinner, yet has good
absorbency level. This is very helpful for babies who are
already walking and running because the lightness of the diaper
would make them not feel heavy.
The inner layer
of this diaper seals out wetness very well, so that baby does
not soak in wet urine. This is very good because the chances of
diaper rash occurring are less. As shown in the picture below
the side tabs are long the sticky tabs are soft and would not
pinch the baby. However we noticed that the sticky tabs are
quite small. Also the curly side thigh hugs have excellent
elasticity and are well hugging to the baby's thighs. This helps
protect leakage a great deal.
The negative side of this diaper is that the back as
well as front side tabs of the diaper is not stretchy. As we
have said in other reviews, after the baby wears this diaper for
a while, this diaper does not adjust to the baby's movement and
in a way it may be uncomfortable for the moving baby. In a
toddler's life it is very critical to have a diaper that is
comfortable and adjust to their movements so that they can
concentrate on playing and exploring the world around them
rather than getting annoyed at something on their hips.
We also
noticed that this diaper is almost very similar to pampers
babydry. If you like those, then this diaper might be a good
alternative for a cheaper price. Also this diaper is perfumed
just like Pampers babydry and if your child is allergic to
these, you might want to try a hypo-allergenic diaper.
Overall this diaper has an excellent price to quality ratio and
is well worth trying out.
