Customer Baby Diaper Review : Huggies Baby Shaped Diaper
Author : Lisa
Huggies Baby-Shaped diaper
is among the best diapers in the market. It is beautifully decorated, absorbent,
stretching, soft and cozy. Absorbency may be less than that of Pampers diapers,
but a good protection from leaks and stretchy diaper's waist makes this diaper
pleasant to wear. Here is what our team learned about this diaper's quality.
1. Huggies Baby shaped diaper has Nice Looks!
Although looks might not be as important for a little baby as for her mother,
nice looks of a diaper is certainly what child's parents and a growing toddler
prefer. Especially for a toddler girl it is amusing to put on a new beautiful
blouse, a dress with flowers or...a nicely decorated diaper! Because a diaper is
an inseparable part of child's life until she is 3 or 4 years old, it needs to
look good, just like other clothes. Huggies Baby-Shaped diaper is modestly but
beautifully decorated. It does not have painted sides or colorful wetness
indicators and it is white, however on the waist ribbon lovely Disney cartoon
characters are painted ( Mickey Mouse and Goofy with colorful figures in the
background). Children who are growing up with Disney cartoons will love this
design.
2. Huggies Baby shaped diaper Size
This diaper is big for its size! Surprise, surprise, because Huggies Ultra trim
diaper used to be much smaller and tighter. Baby-shaped diaper is a huge
improvement size wise. It hugs baby's waist well and protects well from leaks as
well. Thus, buy a size that you normally buy because it is going to fit just
right.
3. Huggies Baby shaped diaper Feeling
This diaper feels extremely soft and thin. No plastic-like feeling on the sides,
a very smooth inner layer and a soft waist line. It is somewhat thinner than
Pampers Baby-Dry diaper and that might be a negative point for a baby who is
learning to walk and falls a lot on her bottom. But on the other hand, it might
be a plus point for a very active and confident toddler who doesn't need
additional bulk in between her legs. The material of this diaper is letting
baby's skin breath and therefore baby is less likely to develop a diaper rash.
Good job Huggies crew!
4. Huggies Protection from leaks
Excellent. The protective stretchy grips around the thighs are preventing leaks
very well. The inner layer is shorter and the outside layer is wider.
5. Flexibility
Good. Diaper's back waist part is made with a stretchy ribbon that stretches to
the sides. It does not however stretch up and down. The back side flaps that
hold sticky tabs are also stretching well sideways. The front waist line of the
diaper is, however, non-stretchy, so when baby bends the back waist of the
diaper is stretching to accommodate the movement and the front is not. Such
combination of a stretchy back side and a non-stretchy front side is better than
a completely non-stretchy waistline in some diapers like Pampers Baby Dry
diaper, but not the best. For a toddler who is constantly on a move diaper pants
with completely stretchy waistline would be much better. The non-stretchy front
is usually uncomfortably pressing baby's belly and toddlers might want to remove
such diaper. Thus, the so called "Gigglastic" waist band is not that giggliest
after all. Right now it is just of an average flexibility diaper.
6. Absorbency
Very Good. Not as good as Pampers diapers but better than of most other kinds of
diapers. The inner layer feels quite dry after a few pees although not
completely dry. This diaper is really nice for young infants and not so good for
toddlers.
7. Flaws
The back side of the diaper has some hard wrinkled stuff inside that is
uncomfortable for any age baby. That's the biggest drawback for this diaper.
Otherwise it is quite nice.. but pricey.
