First of all size is accurate and fits babies and toddlers well. The overall impression of the diaper’s size was positive. It was not baggy and not too tight. It fit well and stayed on where it was supposed to stay. Because this swim diaper was snug, it didn’t let too much sand in at the beach. It was a big plus for this diaper. Toddlers usually immerse themselves in sand and sandy shore water and they end up with a lot of sand in some body parts that make them very uncomfortable. FINIS swim diaper was great in this regard. It was easy to put it on, even when children were wet and sandy already. If you ever tried to put anything on a wet and sandy toddler then you know how challenging it is! The care instructions on the diaper say to hand wash in cold water only, however during testing stage we machine - washed them in warm water with a regular detergent at least 10 times and diapers still had the same “new” bright look and not a sign of usage. This swim diaper has somewhat shiny colorful exterior and a white smooth inner layer, all polyester for fast drying and durability.
