Pampers Baby Dry diaper is exactly what its name describes it to
be: keeping baby dry and preventing leakages effectively. It is
a huge diaper for its size and it swaddles your child all
around. This diaper has a great sponge factor, and is soft and
gives a cloth like feeling and it is a nice diaper after all.
However there are a few negative features that need mentioning
as well. A non-stretchy waist and side flaps make this diaper
less comfortable for a moving child. The outer leak guards
surrounding baby's thighs could be bigger to prevent leakages
more effectively. Lets look at each feature in detail.
The picture on the left shows
the very wide side tabs. You can almost see the wideness of
this diaper for this size. This diaper is big for its size, which is good.

The big size of the diaper is very nice especially if your baby
is small and is not yet cruising around the house. The long back
of the diaper prevents liquid stools of infants from leaking
through the back while they are sleeping. Most diapers fail to
do that due to a small size and a non-stretchy waist. When the
waist of the diaper is non-stretching it does not come close to
baby's body and the resulting gap is perfect for ugly leaks.
This diaper doesn't have stretchy waist and this is quite a
minus, however its size in part compensates for the lack of
diaper's flexibility. The other nice feature this diaper has is
its wide back and front flaps. The front flaps get tucked in
under the back flaps when you put the diaper on your baby. This
has a cozy swaddling effect as well as is a wonderful way to
prevent leaks and keep the diaper in place.
The soft sticky
tabs do not have sharp corners and they go far up on the diaper,
and not likely to touch your baby's body. They are nicely
decorated and have a wavy line at the end. The sticky tabs have
a double fastening effect. The front side of the tab has a
special piece fastening the tab to the front ribbon of the
diaper while the back of the tab is sticky and helps to fasten
the sticky tab even better. While Little Ones diaper has
completely sticky tabs and sometimes during the diaper change
they stick painfully to the baby's body, the sticky tabs of Baby
Dry diapers are sticky only at the bottom, which makes it less
likely to stick to baby's body.
The softness of this diaper and cloth like feeling of
the inside layer of the diaper makes it very cozy to wear. The
inner layer is very effective in keeping the moisture locked
inside; from baby's body - thus your child is much less likely
to develop a diaper rash. Baby dry diaper contains a perfumed
lotion, which conceals the natural urine smell, however some
baby's might be allergic to that so keep this in mind while
considering this diaper. The sponge
factor of this diaper is fantastic. During our testing period
this diaper didn't leak even once. Its size is one of the
factors why this diaper is so good in absorbing liquid. Another
factor of course may be the special materials used to absorb the
liquid.
The outer
covering layer of the diaper is firm and does not leak. The leak
guards surrounding baby's legs could be wider. The liquid stools
of an infant might leak through the side. Otherwise this diaper
is a very nice diaper to have and it is nicely decorated with
Sesamee Street's characters. The portrait edges of the Sesamee
Street’s characters serve as helpers in putting the diaper's
sticky tabs symmetrically. The symmetrical alignment of the
sticky tabs helps make sure your diaper will fit correctly and
will not be too lose or too tight for your baby.
